    How is access provided?

Access to the available e-resources is authorized via the registered IP addresses of the eligible institutions. This means that staff, students and library users at eligible institutions can access the full text of the e-resources direct from the institutional network.

Some e-recourses are available through remote access, as well (from anywhere based on an individual username and password). Eligible institutions can offer remote access to staff and registered students, but not to external library users. For them the authentication has to be implemented through the lightweight directory access protocols (LDAPs) that are maintained by these eligible institutions.

The Library of the Academy of Sciences is responsible for registering IP addresses and allocating usernames and passwords for remote access. Please contact them if you have any questions.
